Observation from 1st Jan 2009

First attempt of compositing Luminance and Chrominance from two different cameras. This is as perpendicular as the rings can be seen until 2038.

One of my sharpest examples. Rhea can be seen, although Dione is barely visible at the bottom.

Observation from 29th May 2008

Taking into account that the maximum useful magnification of the scope is 480X, and shooting at f/50, the result is not too bad. Seeing was good but well past 2008 opposition... Rhea can also been seen.

The storm can be seen as one or two bright spots in the southern hemisphere. I tried two different White Balance settings attempting to better show it. Contrast has been further enhanced on the right images. Also, image size is twice the original.
